A Carry-On bag will come in handy for many reasons; to bring on-board what you need the first afternoon (before your luggage arrives) and for the last night on the cruise. On that last night, your luggage has to be placed outside your cabin by 11 pm, which leaves all sorts of odds and ends to carry off the next day.
Don't forget to clean out your wallets.... you probably have cards there that won't be used in the Caribbean! They don't take checks either so leave your checkbook home.
NO IRONS OR STEAMERS are allowed in your cabin. They WILL take them from your luggage and return them when you get off the ship...
